    Black Thought

    The Roots

    Tariq Luqmaan Trotter, better known as Black Thought, is an American rapper and the lead MC of the Philadelphia-based hip hop group, The Roots, as well as an occasional actor. Black Thought, who co-founded The Roots with drummer Questlove (Ahmir Thompson), is widely lauded for his live performance skills, and politically aware lyrics. The Roots is also the official house band on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where Questlove also serves as the show's Musical Director.

    Bill Cummings never aspired to be a billionaire-and never acknowledged he was one until long after it happened. That's because it is not money that motivates him, but rather the immense enjoyment he gets from building and growing successful businesses. He thrives at being an opportunist and believes that this often-misunderstood trait is one of the key characteristic of successful entrepreneurs.

    Gururaj “Desh” Deshpande is a Trustee of Deshpande Foundation along with his wife Jaishree. He is also the President and Chairman of Sparta Group LLC, a family investment office, and the Chairman of Tejas Networks. During his entrepreneurial career, Dr. Deshpande has been involved either as the founder, a founding investor or chairman of several companies including Cascade Communications, Sycamore Networks, Coral Networks, Tejas Networks, Cimaron, Webdialogs, Airvana, Sandstone Capital, A123 Systems and Curata.

    1854 Cycling Co.

    Brandale Randolph is the founder and owner of the 1854 Cycling Company, a premium bicycle & cycling apparel brand founded to help end recidivism among the formerly incarcerated. He is also the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Project: Poverty, a nonprofit organization that aims to design, create and implement innovative strategies to reduce poverty.


    Shelley Cardoos

    Entrepreneurship for All

    Shelley Cardoos is the Director of Programs for EforAll, and Owner of Hippo, a year round gift store located in the heart of downtown New Bedford. Shelley first joined EforAll as the Executive Director of EforAll South Coast, based in Fall River and New Bedford, MA. Under her leadership, over 150 jobs were created by local entrepreneurs, and they generated $1.7 million in revenue.






    Christa Brown

    Entrepreneurship for All

    Christa Brown is the Content Manager for EforAll. She has the amzing opportunity to think through how to best craft content that will further establish EforAll as a driving force for inclusive entrepreneurship. She is also an actress, and the host/creator of the Choice2bHappy podcast.
